While brief, this piece was described as unrelenting. Specifically intended for an unknown Korean Horror Film Trailer, this is a work for string orchestra in modern style. The closing section uses a dotted rhythm, like foot steps of the old man pursuing the listener, in a graduated crescendo until you are finally seized in his freezing dead hands.

Bio
Les Griffon is a modern folk music duo from Texas. Wayland is a classically trained pianist with roots in bluegrass, jazz, and folk music. He regularly teaches piano, voice, composition, and music theory. His musical abilities are an integral part of every song this partnership creates. He writes music in terms of voices that range from bass to soprano, hearing independent melody lines that harmonically intersect to form a pleasing structure.
Mary is a guitarist, pianist, and songwriter. She composes the majority of the lyrics, plays lead guitar, and is the primary vocalist. She found her musical voice later in life. In her twenties, she had a vision of forming a band with Wayland. The dream materialized when they reconnected years later.
We are happiest singing together, creating new sounds, and realizing something new amidst what is already known. Music is the happy collision of our attempt to say something interesting with the language passed down over the last three hundred years. We all use the same notes, but never run out of new things to say. We unknowingly create works that anticipate what is yet to come.
